Resin Driveways, Patios & Paths Across Wiltshire

Beautiful, fully permeable resin bound surfaces installed by local specialists in Salisbury, Chippenham, Swindon, Trowbridge and surrounding areas.

Why Wiltshire Homeowners Are Choosing Resin Bound

Wiltshire has a lot of character properties, country lanes and period homes – and a tired tarmac or cracked concrete driveway can really let them down. A resin bound surface gives you a smart, modern look without losing that softer, natural feel.

Permeable and SUDS-friendly

Water drains through the surface rather than running off into the road, helping to reduce puddles and pressure on local drainage. This is increasingly important with heavier rainfall and tighter planning expectations around surface water.

Hard-wearing in all seasons

Unlike traditional tarmac and concrete, quality resin bound systems are designed to resist cracking, fading and tyre scuffs for years when installed on a proper base.

Customisable to your home

There’s a huge choice of natural stone blends, edging details and patterns. Wiltshire customers are increasingly choosing softer, natural tones that sit well with brick, stone and render – rather than harsh, solid colours.

Low-maintenance

No loose stone to sweep up, and no weeds sprouting through. A simple occasional jet-wash keeps the surface looking fresh.

Why Choose Wiltshire Resin?

Plenty of companies in Wiltshire will “do” resin – but not all resin installations are the same. We focus on doing it once, and doing it properly.

  • Specialists in resin bound, not a general builder
Resin bound is our core work, not an occasional add-on. Your base, falls and drainage are checked properly before we quote.

  • Quality systems only
We only install fully UV-stable resin bound systems with proven performance, not the cheaper resin mixes that can yellow or go patchy over time. (If you’re using Vuba/other, name-drop it here.)

  • Professional groundwork
Where needed, we upgrade the sub-base, improve drainage and install proper edging rather than just overlaying and hoping for the best. That’s the part you don’t see, but it’s what makes the surface last.

  • Bespoke design advice
We help you choose aggregate blends and borders that suit your property style, whether that’s a village cottage, new-build in a cul-de-sac or a larger rural home.

  • Local team, local knowledge
Our surveyors and installers are working in Wiltshire every week – from Salisbury and Amesbury through to Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge, Swindon and Marlborough.

  • Fixed, written quotes
No pushy “sign today” pricing. You’ll get a clear, itemised quote so you know exactly what’s included.

From the first survey to the final brush-off, you’ll have one point of contact and a friendly, tidy team on site.

Resin Colours & Edging Options

One of the biggest advantages of resin bound surfacing is the freedom to design a finish that truly suits your home. You might choose a single natural blend for a clean, seamless look, or introduce contrasting borders and features to frame the driveway and add definition.

As a Vuba Elite Installer, we work with a wide range of premium, UV-stable stone blends, including:

  • Natural tones that complement brick, render and stone

  • Contemporary greys and charcoals for modern homes

  • Warm, rustic mixes ideal for cottages and rural properties

  • Optional contrasting borders, aprons and pathways

During your free home survey, we’ll bring physical samples so you can see how different blends look against your brickwork, render and front door before making a decision.

FAQs

Is a resin bound driveway right for my property?

In most cases, yes. We can install resin bound surfaces on new bases or over certain existing surfaces such as sound tarmac or concrete. At your survey we’ll check the condition and advise on the best option.

Do I need planning permission?

Most resin bound driveways are classed as permeable and therefore do not usually require planning permission when installed correctly on a suitable base. We’ll explain how this applies to your property at survey stage.

How long does installation take?

Smaller driveways and patios are often completed within 2–3 working days from the start of groundworks. Larger projects or more complex access can take a little longer, but we’ll give you clear timings in your quote.

How much does a resin driveway cost in Wiltshire?

Cost depends on the size, preparation needed and the resin blend you choose. In Wiltshire, most domestic resin driveways we install sit somewhere between £90–£190 per m², but we’ll always give you a site-specific price.

How do I look after my new resin surface?

Routine sweeping and the occasional low-pressure jet-wash are usually all that’s required. We’ll provide you with simple aftercare guidance at handover.
